TERMS & CONDITIONS

CONTEST OVERVIEW

1. The Kitchen Plaza contest (“the Contest”) is organised and sponsored by Kitchen Plaza (“Kitchen Plaza”). The Contest is governed by these terms and conditions, including any subsequent amendments thereto (“Terms & Conditions”).

2. All participants in the Contest will be deemed to have accepted the Terms & Conditions.

3. The Contest is open to all customers of Kitchen Plaza who:

i. are residents or permanent residents of Malaysia;

ii. are eighteen (18) years of age or above;

iii. have a valid Malaysian identification card; and

4. Employees of Kitchen Plaza and their immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters) and anyone directly connected with the lucky draw are not eligible to enter the Contest.

5. Eligible entries from Kitchen Plaza customers for the lucky draw will only be via participation of the lucky draw through purchase at our local store or website with minimum amount of

CONTEST PERIOD

6. The Contest period is from 23 March 2023 until 20 April 2023 (both dates inclusive) (“the Contest Period”). The contest period may be changed by Kitchen Plaza at its discretion.

7. All entries received before or after the Contest Period shall automatically be disqualified.

8. Contest starts on the 23 March 2023 and supersedes any previous promotional material.

CONTEST MECHANICS

9. To qualify for a chance to win a grand prize in the Contest participants must submit the participation form, agree to all terms and conditions, and successfully purchase a minimum of:

For products offered by Kitchen Plaza
RM600 = 1 participation in the Grand Prize category
RM200 = 1 participation in the Special Prize category

For products offered by The Pisau
RM400 = 1 participation in the Grand Prize category
RM200 = 1 participation in the Special Prize category

10. Winners shall be selected at random, either by hand or by other means and methods (which may be manual or computerized) as the Company may determine in its sole and absolute discretion. Winners will be notified by their provided phone number. The result will be published via Live broadcast within 14 days after the contest has ended. If the winners are unreachable after 7 days of the announcement, other winners will be chosen as replacement.

11. The prizes for the contest are as follows:

For Kitchen Plaza:
• 1x Grand Prize – Gold Bracelet
• 5x Special Prize – Assortment of Kitchenware

For The Pisau
• 1x Grand Prize – Victorinox Knives set
• 5x Special Prize – Assortment of Knives & Tools

12. Kitchen Plaza reserves the right to substitute the prizes for other prizes without prior notice, at its absolute discretion.

13. All participants in the Contest expressly consent to public disclosure of their names, photos and particulars for publicity purposes connected to the Contest. Winners of the Contest also consent to cooperate and participate in any publicity activities that may be organised by Kitchen Plaza.

DISCLAIMER AND INDEMINITY

14. The participants understand and agree that their participation in the Contest is at their own risk and Kitchen Plaza is not liable to any person whether in tort, contract, statute or otherwise for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or costs in connection with their participation in the Contest.

15. Kitchen Plaza makes no representation or warranty whatsoever pertaining to:

• the continuous, uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Contest;

• the accuracy of information and statements in the Contest page;

• the security and freedom from any computer viruses or other harmful properties.

16. The participants acknowledge and agree that to the fullest extent permitted by law, Kitchen Plaza disclaims all liabilities for any claims for damages, losses, costs and/or expenses arising from participation in the Contest.

17. Kitchen Plaza reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions or the mechanics of the Contest by publishing the amendments on this page.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

18. The Contest and all information published and related to it (including text, graphics, symbols, icons, software and trademarks) are protected by copyright and trade mark and remains the sole property of Kitchen Plaza.

PERSONAL DATA

22. By participating in the Contest, the participants consent to their personal data being used by Kitchen Plaza for all purposes related to the Contest.

FORCE MAJEURE

23. Kitchen Plaza shall not be liable for any default in respect of the Contest due to any act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, storm, technical or system failures or any event beyond the reasonable control of Kitchen Plaza.

GOVERNING LAW

24. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Malaysian law.

25. In the event of any inconsistencies between the English terms & conditions and the Bahasa Malaysia terms & conditions, the English version shall prevail.
